The owners were very nice friendly and helpful . The room was in an adjacent building modern spotless and had a very comfy bed and pillows one of the most comfy beds ive stayed in in a good while . The room had a small fridge and fresh milk . The bathroom was a good size also . The room i had came with a hot tub which was lovely to use in the evening just to chill out in . The room was next to a main road but did not notice during my stay . The pub has a good size car park . I had a steak in the restaurant whice was very nice fair play cooked just right .

The room was very clean and welcoming, as a hotel housekeeper myself it was good to see the room properly cleaned and neatly presented. The room has a charming indoor/outdoor vibe with the flooring complimenting the style of decor. Although it is attached to a pub, there was no rowdiness or disturbance. The roadside noise was not bad either, it was a dull humming of cars passing that caused no disturbance at all. The TV's are connected to the WiFi so you can access Netflix etc, and they have ambient lights which is cool for music. The bathroom is spacious, well presented and I had a lovely bath with soaks after a stressful day. It's also close enough to Honiton and other local towns that you can go sight see etc but out of the way enough to have peace and quiet.

I was not allowed to steal the owners dog for the night. Just kidding, there is nothing not to like. Rufus for employee of the month!
