The Poplars Lodge with Hot Tub

The accommodation is fantastic and set in beautiful surroundings. The caravan is spacious and the host has made an effort to give it a real comfortable homely feel. Cleaning was done to an exceptional standard. I have stayed in many similar caravans before but this was the best. The hot tub was amazing after a long drive. The site itself is ideally located for York and surroundings.

Not the fault of the hosts but there were some groups playing loud music staying at some of the nearby accommodation. I'm not sure if the site can monitor this as it could put off some people.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful and so spacious and comfortable. It was a great place to stay and York was only a short drive from the site. We enjoyed the hot tub which like everything else was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the little touches like having soap, tea, coffee, kitchen roll etc in the lodge which you don't usually find when staying in self catering accommodation. There was also a lovely restaurant on site which was friendly and had a great menu. I would highly recommend the lodge and site and would definitely visit again in the future.

Interior of the lodge gorgeous and it was a comfortable and cozy environment. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to use.

Absolutely amazing lodge! By far the best one we have stayed in at Allerthorpe. Beautifully decorated and great facilities. Loved the added extras for the dogs. I would most definitely book to stay here again

Only slight problem we encountered was trying to watch TV. The one in the bedroom doesn’t work at all and one in the front room just kept buffering so could do with stronger wifi but it didn’t matter too much as we were enjoying the hot tub!

Lovely location. Very relaxing. spotlessly clean comfy beds. Site was beautifully maintained. Restaurant on site food was lovely and staff very friendly. Added bonus of the hot tub. York only 20mins away
