Υπέροχη διαμονή,φιλοξενεία,τοποθεσία...Το σπίτι διαθέτει όλες τις ανέσεις και βρίσκεται σ ενα ήρεμο μέρος ιδανικό για να εξερευνήσετε τις γύρω περιοχές.Το πιο όμορφο απο όλα ήταν η φιλοξενεία, οι ζεστές καρδιές που μας πρόσεξαν και αγκάλιασαν!!Όμορφοι άνθρωποι στολίζουν το χωρίο και θα έχουν μια θέση στην καρδιά μας.Ευχαριστούμε για όλα και σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε!!

Που φύγαμε...

Unser Aufenthalt in Frosos Ferienhaus war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus liegt in Zarós, in den mittleren Bergen Kretas, nur etwa 40 Minuten von Heraklion entfernt. Es ist sehr komfortabel und liebevoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns Frau Froso herzlich empfangen und uns selbstgebackene Kekse sowie ein köstliches, typisch kretisches Käsegebäck als Willkommensgeschenk überreicht. Eine wunderschöne Geste! Jeden Tag haben wir frischen Orangensaft aus den eigenen Orangenbäumen des Hauses genossen – ein echtes Highlight. Auch die Nachbarn waren unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, ganz so, wie man es von Griechenland kennt. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nichts

Close to the village taberna's and coffee, nice view and great orange tree (the kids loved picking the oranges for orange juice) and vegetable garden. Owner was very generous with sweets, cakes, oranges and peanuts at home, which the kids loved.

All the appliances you might need. Great bed. Microwave! Lots of homemade jam and alcohol and cookies!

Park the care on the main road of the village! Don't drive up to the house. It is less than 100 meters to carry the suitcase but it'll save you a real narrow and steep alley in which you'll need to reverse.

Well equipped home

Despite every effort to work things without with this facility and Bookings, this was a Fail. Froso's may be a good place to stay in tourist season, but out of season, forget it. In fact, my brother and I did not stay. We lost our money...3 nights. Why? Simple. We were not welcomed. We walked into a dark and freezing place. There was a "welcome" opened box of crackers on the kitchen table. There was no heat in the bathroom. We understood there was no parking offered, but when we called Froso's to ask for recommendations as to where to park in this rural village, the "host" told us he had no idea. He wasn't from Zaros. Froso's should have said they were closed. We should have been refunded our money. Despite several efforts to quietly contact Froso's, we never received a reply. Bookings offered us nothing but toothless support. We have traveled all over the world and never had this kind of "across the board" unwelcoming experience. Froso's failed. And so did Bookings.

A lovely home and wonderful host. We really enjoyed our stay at Froso’s Home. The home was comfortable, nicely appointed and equipped. Our host was very friendly and kind giving us homemade pies. I recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Zaros area. Central location near ruins, gorges, Zaros lake and restaurants serving brown trout.

Location was great. In the center of the village, but very quiet. Cozy, well lit, old fashioned Cretan home. Except Sunday morning, when the church bells rang which we were warned about. This was actually nice, and we saw the community gathering there. Our hosts and even our next door neighbor brought us food and special treats. Our hosts and family members were very generous and friendly. There were a few nice restaurants nearby. Also some fun hikes.
