After visiting 50 countries I can say this is my worst experience in any type of accommodation. First when we arrived earlier than check in to leave out luggage there was no one but a camera so texted on app and the owner offer us 5000yen to leave out backpacks just for a couple or hours. Which is an absurd price so we obviously left and came back again when check in time. That night a next door room neighbor slept with tv on all night (there is no wall, just a blocked door that divides two rooms, so you can hear everything) and when I complain to owner by app he started lying about we used outdoor shoes inside and about we did late check out. When we left by 10am the room we spent 10min in the kitchen preparing next destination before leaving and he threatened us about extra charges because we broke the rules. I felt like in a big brother house where you don’t see any face but someone on the camera is looking at you, judging and lying. To be honest I couldn’t believe when the owner threatened us. This is why I write this long review, and I didn’t even have time to talk about how dirty this place is. Red flag dear traveler. Just pick another place to stay and enjoy Okinawa.

The location is great! Just a few steps away from Makishi Market and Kokusai dori street, with many good restaurants and shops! The rooms are big and comfy, everything is clean and well equipped! I felt like Home! Thank you! 😊

The house location is easily accessible. House owner had sent us a message giving proper directions of the property. That was thoughtful of him. There will not be receptionist or anyone in-charge, but owner will be available on call. The villa has shared bathroom and kitchen, along with laundry for 200yen each time you use. You only get one towel and one toothbrush on the day you arrive. You have to pay extra if you want another towel. There is a famous market lane, easily accessible parking lots and Convenience stores nearby. Naminoue Beach is also close to the villa.

The villa is very old and that's why very cheap. There was no receptionist or anyone to look after the property 24*7. Floors made noise when walked on even normally. There is no security at all other than a hinge. There's a mirror only in the living area. You cannot use the kitchen, living area, laundry and dryer between 11 P.M to 8 A.M. The rooms are dull and you can see nails everywhere. The stair are narrow and slippery. Coming back to the noise and old building, there was another guest (Room 101, Ikeda-san I think) who constantly complained about the noise to us and the owner even though we took utmost care to not make any sound. The irony being he watched TV in the living area himself and talked with other guests in loud voices. Another time, when we took a bento from conbini to eat in the kitchen, he complained about the smell and lied about how we were cooking for long time in the kitchen (when we didn't even cook anything!). Just after 2 days we didn't want to return to this place, even though our stay was for 5 days. We had confirmed in advance that Japanese only in the name refers to people who can speak Japanese and not related to country they belong to. But the guest told us 外国人はダメ(No foreigners allowed). It would have been better if there was someone to keep check on such people who made others stay at the property dissatisfactory. We love Japan and have stayed in Japan for more than 3 years. We respect and follow the rules. But, it was a mental torture to constantly receive taunts and bad gestures while living in peaceful country such as Japan.
