The Loft at Bear Mountain log cabins

In the description of the property it mentioned breakfast and coffee provided so I did not bring my own coffee. We saw a fresh, unopened bag of Bear Mountain coffee on the counter. It had $12.00 hand written on it. I assumed the owners who lead me to believe coffee was provided with the breakfast food in the fridge wanted us to know we could purchase additional bags of the coffee if we chose. Anyway, my husband opened it and oh yay, fresh coffee beans. We could not find a grinder? So left an opened but untouched bag of $12 coffee beans there. Now the owner wants me to pay for them? Come on. No refund policy was clearly stated when I booked the place. We left with two days left on the reservation and they still wanted their coffee money and to drink it too. Unexpected. The main floor bedroom had what I assumed was a small animal in the walls or ceiling making scratching sounds multiple times so may need to check that.. Too close to the highway. We clogged the toilet but got it corrected before we left.

I don't know, we planned and prepared our own breakfast.

The kitchen did not have a few things like salt and pepper, oil to cook with, etc. that would be helpful to have. We left S&P for the kitchen.

The cabin was exceptional. Good location.

Getting there on a bike was a little hard but not a deal breaker

The location was perfect! A cozy cabin with just enough seclusion. Close to shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. The cabin was clean and stocked with amenities. Loved the breakfast items and coffee. You won’t be disappointed.
