Sea View Cottage in Dorset, Portland

- Beds were comfy - Curtains blocked out most of the light - Shower gel was provided - Short walk to a shop and the beach - Unloading space was available outside the property

- No milk provided - Noise of traffic and people outside - Shouldn’t be called sea view cottage when the sea is not visible - Creaky floorboards - Realised very quickly we booked the wrong date and whilst it was booked non-refundable, we notified the owners very quickly who would not accommodate a refund which seemed a bit tight.

It's such a lovely house, it's comfy, beautifully decorated and we immediately felt at home. Great location too.

We loved all of it and will return.

Decor was a bit dark and not very comfortable.

The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and all the information they sent was accurate and easy to follow. The cottage itself was pristine, although in fairness, you could not see the sea from it. You didn't have to travel very far before you could. There's very little to crticise about the cottage itself. It is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, although I might suggest that the staircase would not be suitable for very young children or those with difficulty mobilising. Apart from that, I cannot fault it.

There was nothing I did not like.

Nice and clean. Great location. A bit quirky.

No bin in the bathroom. TV too high! Just my preference but it makes my eyes hurt looking up to the tv.
