"Paradise for a writer's retreat or a base for exploring"

The apartment was so completely wonderful that I wished that I could live there. Laurel and her husband live upstairs, and we're always available. It's a working farm with some amazing animals. The best sleeping I have had in years.

"Unique Stay"

What a unique place for our stay . Such warm and welcoming hosts . We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the resident animals as well. The apartment met all our needs and we wished we had had more time to just relax there . We did have fun driving the country roads and admiring the scenery and all the historical places . Great area . The apartment is modern and clean and for those who are enquiring - no...there was no barnyard smell. In fact I was impressed by how clean the grounds and stalls were. We had great talks with our hosts and you could tell that they were caring people . This is on our list for a return visit .

It wasn't a matter of not liking but we couldn't use the pool as the weather didn't cooperate and the pool is not heated .

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to return in a few months.
