Captivating Coastline 2 BR Retreat with Ocean View

There was no mention of stairs. I didn’t know until I got there and had 2 bags to carry up. I’m 67 Also I couldn’t turn up the thermostat. I had to take the garbage to dumpsters away from the facility. And the keypad lock on the door didn’t work very well. There were plenty of bath towels and washcloths but only 1 hand towel for a week.

It was relatively clean and furnished.

The apartment above the garage is comfortable with well equipped kitchen. The owner offered us use of laundry machines downstairs. It’s winter in Kodiak and the owners made sure the walkways and stairs were not icy. The bedding smelt fresh and clean, the shower had hot water for 3 people in a row, it’s a short drive to Safeway and Walmart. The apartment was warm when we stepped in. We had to go to Kodiak as a relative passed away suddenly. There were not many options available. The other places in Kodiak available to rent goes through a management company where you have another layer of people and paperwork-contracts and security deposits to deal with which is a major hassle. The stay at Spruce Patch and dealing directly through Booking was simple and hassle free. So glad we stayed true to the Booking platform and dealt directly with the owners at Spruce Patch. The small attentive gestures from the owners added up to a lot. In the morning, you can see the sunrise from the living area. Stay here and you will not regret your choice. As someone who uses this app exclusively for lodging, Spruce Patch is true to the booking experience.

This place was perfect for what we needed; comfortable beds and ample space for 4 people.
