Scammed by booking.com executives Puja Gosh and Arnab Ganguly, who are corrupt and are showing ha lad property taking money and shifted us to RB guest house which is below par. They are colluding with property owners taking commission and scamming tourists

INThe host was very helpful and gracious. He tended to our needs to the best of his ability. One needs to understand that the location is a relatively remote village, and not a lot of facilities are not available nearby. The location is very close to the root bridges and Mawlynnong village, that makes it a great place to stay.
The beds were not very comfortable, neither were the towels clean. There is no facility to dine in the property though there are a few restaurants within 2 km from there. However, our host provided us fresh towels and took good care of us. He also suggested where we should eat and asked after us.

The doors caters to persons with 5.5 feet height. The toilet door had large clearance all along the periphery. The washbasin does not have space to keep the shaving kit etc. There are no hooks to hang the clothes. Some window pans are broken. The electricity points for charging mobile are bare minimum and at awkward locations.
INThe homestay was very clean , the bathrooms were clean and the staff were very very helpful and cordial. Made sure we had everything required. The food they served was fresh , tasted good and quantity was amazing. Living roots bridge is only 200mts away so that's an additional good thing.this is also very close to the cleanest village

Location is not inside the Mawlynnong village. People get duped by the address. Be careful. Homestays inside the Mawlynnong village is much cheaper. Also food is an issue here. Probably you need to travel to Mawlynnong village for food.
