Please note guests must check-in at the main office located at 2603 State Highway 158, June Lake, CA 93529, across the street from the Tiger Bar. Guests arriving after 17:00 local time need to pick up their key in the glass box next to the front door. An envelope with the guest's name containing a map and key will be provided. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please be sure to check for current road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. Great location and very spacious.

Pillow shams were torn and looked worn, and some of the dishes weren't thoroughly cleaned. A group of kids on bikes from a neighboring home decided to use the porch and steps as a ramp to bike on and jump off of while we sat on the porch.

"You get what you pay for"

The location was good and there was parking for two large pickup trucks in the driveway. There were 4 rooms and three bathrooms which was nice, and the price was cheap at $855 for 2 nights.

The smoke detector in the master bedroom started doing the "low battery" beeping at 5AM my first morning. I messaged the host through booking to tell them about the problem and I never received a response. I was in an area with no cell signal from 7AM-9PM so their office was closed and I could not get ahold of them. They never replaced the battery so it woke me up at 5AM the 2nd morning as well. The bathroom next to the dining room had a shower that would spray the ceiling as if the shower head was busted, which I also messaged the host about and never received a response. The shower door in the master bathroom was broken and only one of the two doors were functional. I found an old squirrel or woodrat dropping in the master bedroom and I found a piece of carrot behind the master bedroom door that was likely brought there by a rodent. Almost all of the lights in the property are the horrible cheap fluorescent blue lights so you feel like you are in a Walmart at 2AM. The blinds in the master bedroom do not keep the street lights out, so I had to use a facemask at night. Overall it is a cheap rental property and you can tell they made random additions to the house to try and drive the value up as much as possible by using cheap contractors.

The house could be cleaner. It would also be good to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
