Lovely location in Belém, clean and practical apartment

The location was by far the best thing about this property. It's right opposite a beautiful church and park, and as you step onto the street you step into the vibe of Belem. A quick 1 km walk down hill is the main street of Belem, filled with tourist attractions, vibey restaurants and more!

The pictures are far from what you should expect. The apartment is on the ground floor, with limited natural light unless you open windows which allows people to look into your living space/bedrooms. There was no aircon, which required us to keep windows open at night, letting smoke and noise in from the shared patio. The main drawback was that the apartment was dirty. Once white walls are now brown (even with spots of blood in one bedroom). We had ripped sheets, and cockroaches and the outside patio felt too gross to use. All in all, it felt dirty, cramped, and had bad vibes.

Nice location, easy access, nice patio

not the best maintenance, sofa bed and pillows not very clean, kitchen tap broken and also shower tube leaking water so no pressure.. electric kettle burned or not clean inside. Patio is not privet.

The courtyard was a nice place for breakfast in the cool morning.

The floors, rugs and fan were dusty.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and cozy. It was in a great location to walk to local attractions, restaurants, and stores. The host were quick to reply to any questions I had.

There is some construction going on in the building that was a little loud in the morning, but we were going out sightseeing so it didn’t affect our sleep.
