We were staying in Es Contes with a group of friends late June. The house has potential and we had a great time. It's in a quiet location surrounded by nature, the rooms are nice, there's an outdoor kitchen and you can even see the sea. Unfortunately, however, we were disappointed with several aspects of our stay.

Inside the house, quite a few things felt worn or poorly maintained. Two of the toilet flush buttons came off after using, and one of the fridges didn't close properly. The pool was green and cloudy for a couple of days, which meant we couldn't really use it for a while. The situation was eventually taken care of, but communication with the host was not always helpful or friendly. When we raised the issue with the pool, we received a rather snide comment about drinks being the reason for the water quality, which felt misplaced and unprofessional. We would have appreciated a more respectful tone. Overall, we still enjoyed ourselves in the house.

We spent a wonderful week with friends at this beautiful villa. The house has authentic charm, is well maintained, and perfectly suited for groups: spacious common areas, a lovely outdoor dining space, a great pool, and total privacy surrounded by nature. What really stood out was the care from the Slow Villas team. They were very responsive throughout our stay, provided clear instructions for a smooth self check-in, and even came by personally when we needed help with a supplier — which was truly appreciated. It’s the kind of place where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Calm, welcoming, and ideal for creating memories with friends. We’d love to come back!

What could be improved: • Some of the equipment felt a bit outdated — especially the dishwasher and fridge. • Picking up the keys at the airport instead of directly at the house was a bit inconvenient, especially after a long journey.

Great rural location only minutes from nearest shops and Cala D’or. Beautiful villa, great outdoor kitchen where we spent a lot of time. Good size pool, nice artificial grass area for kids to play, large gardens and spacious villa.

Indoor kitchen on small side but most of our cooking was done in outdoor kitchen.
