Killiane Castle Country House & Farm

I knocked on the door to check out and a small dog nearly attacked me so I quietly left the keys and vacated after nobody answered the door. Was a lovely breakfast and a lovely room and lovely property but that cute little dog was ready to murder me.

Nobody answered door when I tried to check out and I didn’t dare knock again for fear of being bit.

We stayed in an apartment at this beautiful castle hotel and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location itself is truly unique, with the castle creating a very special atmosphere. Although we stayed in self-catering accommodation, we chose to have breakfast at the hotel – and it was exceptional, truly a royal experience. The hosts were excellent throughout our stay, very welcoming and attentive. We would absolutely recommend this place and would happily return.

What a unique and exceptional experience, to stay in a castle in the Irish countryside! The staff was fantastic, going above and beyond by helping me figure out a complicated bus schedule. The facilities are super clean and comfortable. I slept great and had a bubble bath too! Really appreciated the kettle and tea/coffee in the room. And the grounds and old castle are interesting!

We loved everything! It was the cutest spot, had delicious cake and cookies, and the staff were amazing.
