Domum - The Comunist Apartment

Location is great, right in the center. The flat is like a communism museum, which we liked, it definitely gave the vibe

The athmosphere was very peculiar and it really almost felt like sleeping in a museum full of history. The location was close to the underground and all the attractions and the room was very quiet.

One of us has a mold allergy, and we noticed the place is quite humid (especially the kitchen), so it might not be ideal for people with similar sensitivities. The house is quite old, so it’s not too surprising.

It is an interesting apartment with old/communistic furniture. The host is very, very communicative and nice. There is opportunity for free parking along the streets. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom.

The kitchen equipment is quite old.

It was like staying at someones grandmas place. We did love the cozy decoration and how the place have not been renovated to be "sterile" with boring white walls and IKEA furniture. There was a lot of things you could see and sample and the place felt like a home museum with all the cool retro stuff from the communist era of Romania. We also liked the area, since it's outside of the old city and have a 24/7 shop nearby.

The bed we slept on in the master room was not very confortable and the kitchen could use a stove of some sort, so it would be possible to prepare food during longer stays.

Antikes Appartement wie beschrieben. Man fühlt sich wie vor 40 Jahren. Trotzdem ist alles vorhanden.

L'appartamento è molto particolare, arredato in stile anni '50 con molta oggettistica d'epoca. Pulizia eccellente e ottimi servizi. L'aspetto più favorevole è sicuramente la posizione. Collegata a tutti i mezzi di spostamento (stazione bus e taxi) e vicinissima al centro storico (5 minuti a piedi). Self check-in molto semplice. Grazie ancora di tutto all'host, persona gentilissima e sempre disponibile.

Struttura un pò fatiscente che a tratti emana odori spiacevoli, ma è normale, è una casa d'epoca. Per il resto tutto perfetto. Per pochi giorni è una soluzione ideale.
