Starry Dome - Manta's Retreat Glamping Cornereva

We stayed 2 nights at the Starry Glamping and loved every minute. + We found the location easily based on the hosts' instructions (don't follow Maps or Waze). + Access can be done easily with a normal car even though the last few km are not paved (we went with a Ford Mondeo for reference). + The dome was clean and comfy. + There's everything you need, including a private bathroom indoors, an equipped kitchenette, fridge, and tables both indoors and outdoors. + Amazing views, tranquility, and fresh air. + The hosts are very warm people ready to make your stay perfect. Seeing as it's somewhere between the mountain villages of the Banat region, it's expected there aren't shops nearby. What we did, and it worked great for us, was to buy the necessities from the supermarket in Caransebes (1 hour away) on our way to Manta's Retreat and just put them away in the fridge. You have the following options for preparing your meals: grill, disk, or multicooker, or ask the hosts if they can help you experience a traditional meal. We went in early September and experienced both warm summer weather and rainy colder autumn weather. Had no problems cooling the dome throughout the day and warming it up during the night with the use of AC. As far as activities go, we relaxed in the hammocks and in the jacuzzi, did a little bit of hiking, and rented an ATV from the hosts. We wish we had time for more. Also, for the kids, there's a playground area with swings and a slide. PS: The hosts have 2 domes. So, if the Starry Dome is booked, try the Tranquil Dome.

It's a great idea, and the owners are amazing people. Nevertheless, there are things that need to be improved, and they are aware of it and working on it.

Everything! The view and the nature is amazing, the dome itself is comfy and cosy, hosts really welcoming and friendly, we will come back!

Had the best booking experience. The place is surounded by mountains and the nature is unreal, perfect for anyone trying to disconnect for a bit and relax.Felt like we are in the movie. Great location for taking walks, enjoying the view in the jacuzzi, grilling. Hosts were so kind and friendly, had great chats about the area, history about it etc. You can see they really love the place and are invested in making sure you get the greatest possible experience. Also they made us donuts and cookies, which were seriously 10/10.

Our car was broken and the owner help us a lot. He took us to the store, make pancakes and got us a tractor to tow the car. Thank you very much.
