"Pictures do not match what stay actually looks like."

1.0

Unfortunately, this accommodation is not as represented. It looks like the accommodation has been under construction for a very long time. The room I was given had windows that were accessible from the walkway and looked right into the bedroom and bathroom area with no way to secure them. The walls clearly showed stains of moisture coming through and the room smelled strongly of mildew and mold. It appears this property has sat vacant for an extended period of time. There was no air conditioning present only wires coming out of the wall. There were no screens/mosquito netting as claimed on the listing. When you enter the property you must go down five or six flights of stairs at various angles. The owner provided a pitcher of water in the morning dressed only in a towel. He made a number of comments about me being a woman traveling alone. It felt very unsafe. The owner was not willing to change my room even though I was the only one staying there at the time. The pool is not usable as the owner uses it to make some sort of art work and puts painted wood in the pool. The pool looked very murky from the paint. The booking shows two pools but the one on the roof was not accessible and looked in bad shape. There was rebar coming off the roof area bending down into the walkway that you had to duck as to not catch your head on the rebar wires. The pictures in the listing do not match the reality of the place. If I could give this a negative rating I would. I was booked for 15 nights here but had to leave after the first night. Owner refused to provide a refund. I DO NOT recommend this stay.
