Mansarda Colombo - Car Parking

Beautiful spacious apartment in a great location in the old town. Very quiet. Private parking in the courtyard was a bonus.

The bathroom towels were in a poor state and needed replacing. A minor thing but made a bad impression.

Everything was perfect!

The apartment is centrally located which makes it easy to explore the city center by foot. The included parking space is great if you arrive by car. Make sure to figure out how to drive there in advance because the one-way roads can be confusing otherwise. You can open the doors through an online key system which is really great and innovative and let's you arrive and leave without any time constraints. The owner is friendly and we were allowed to stay with our dog in the place. We enjoyed staying there!

When we arrived we noticed a strong smell of cigarettes, we assumed that prior guests must have smoked there. We aired the rooms out and got some air refreshers to get rid of the smell. After reconfirming with the host, smoking is not allowed in the apartment so we just had bad luck there. The central location is great but during our one week stay in the place, there were a few nights were obviously drunk people where screaming loudly in the street below the bedroom window which woke us up a few times. Might have also been bad luck. In total, the positive things outweighed those two minus points though and we can recommend staying there - we liked it!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The apartment was very nice, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the parking space was excellent. The owner's hospitality was also a highlight. Location also is perfect, in the city centre. The only challenge was the high stairs, which made it a bit difficult to carry luggage up.
