The location is excellent with regards to access to York City Centre Nicely decorated and well equipped Comfortable well furnished bedrooms Very cosy and warm
The street noise from traffic and passersby is quiet intrusive at night. One of the top floor bedrooms was especially noisy as could not fully close the window- bring ear plugs!

Beautiful apartment. Plenty of space for everyone. We had 8 of us staying and it was lovely. So close to the shambles and centre as described. Would definitely recommend 👌

The property was in a fantastic location, easy walk into the town centre and The Monk Gate can be seen. The property was very clean and well maintained, anything that could have been beaded was there. Super comfortable beds and beautifully decorated throughout.
The property was cold and the heating wouldn’t have been turned on until October. There were blankets available throughout, but due to a cold snap in September we were quite cold.

We made our own breakfast. The location couldn't have been better; We were 100metres from Monkbar, which led us into the centre, with the Minster round to the right.

Very central, just outside city walls with a 5 minute walk to a big supermarket. Parking space included for a small car which is useful as York can be difficult for parking. Very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Despite it's location by a fairly busy road, the house is well sound proofed against traffic noise.
Not a problem for us but guests should be aware before booking that the house is on three floors and so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there is only one shower which might be an issue for some.
