Very spacious and comfortable

Owners were really helpful on arrival and friendly. Location was good, an easy walk to center of Matera old town. Accommodation was perfect for us as a family of 4.

There were fireworks and people outside the house in the middle of the night.

Amazingly spacious apartment. Fully equipped kitchen with nice pots and pans, plenty of silverware, and lots of plates, glasses, and cups. A small Nespresso machine. It is very close to the Matera Villa Longo station, and less than a mile walk to the old town and Sassi. This was a very quiet neighborhood and we got to shop in a couple local markets (there are also two produce shops nearby) and eat in a couple local restaurants (we had a four night stay). The “5 Sensi” pizza around the corner was very good! Mery’s hospitality was top notch, and her mother’s baked goods were a real treat. We didn’t use it, but we passed a coin laundry on the walk to the Sassi.

No issues. Maybe an extra towel rack in the bathroom would be handy, but this an issue in most of the hotels and apartments that we stay in for more than a night.
