Facilities - needs to be advertised as fully self catering - you even need to take salt and pepper No mirrors in bedroom - for make-up One small sofa - where do 4 people sit and watch TV? No washing machine / launderette - for those staying longer Bathroom / Shower smelt bad Value for money was awful

GBJust arrived home today after a great 4 night stay. Excellent friendly welcoming staff, very clean and well equipped cabin. The cabin is in a great location on the site and very spacious, ideal for small family. Hot tub was perfectly secluded and private, great to chill out in of a night time and drift away star gazing in peace. Site was immaculately clean and a really pleasant lake to walk round. Such a peaceful site, great staff and close enough to the city yet far enough away from York to unwind, rest and recoup. Definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.
Only slight issue is the master bed mattress sunk in to much, but the sofa bed compensated and surprisingly comfy.

The fact that the cabins are joined together ruined our stay. We are busy mums & dads with children and treated ourselves to a solo weekend away which wasn’t cheap. There was a family next door with a young baby who cried all night long and we could hear every movement from next door. We feel this should have been mentioned at booking stage.
GBGBBeautiful cottage and Hot tub. Very peaceful. Had everything you needed. Would highly recommended for a break away. I would definitely comeback here.
Shower was a bit hit and miss.
