Das Haus hat eine gute Lage in einem recht ruhigen Wohngebiet in Funchal und diente als idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel mit dem Mietauto zu erkunden. Es gibt eine Bäckerei, ein kleines Geschäft und einen Bankautomaten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der kurze aber steile Fussweg in die Stadt war auch hilfreich. Die Fahrt per Bolt nach Hause aus dem Stadtzentrum kostete wenige Euro. Das Haus hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Da jedoch jeder in der Strasse parkt, konnten wir diesen nicht wirklich nutzen und parkten ebenfalls in der Strasse, was kein Problem darstellte. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief problemlos und sehr schnell. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt deswegen sehr genossen und ich kann die Unterkunft für 2-4 Leute empfehlen.
