Villa Lucilla, beautiful Villa in the heart of Uluwatu

Villa could be nice if maintained Location is ok

We stayed in many different Villas in Bali in a similar price class and what we experienced in Villa Lucilla was shockingly bad. First of no one welcomes you to the Villa. You are expected to check in by yourself. This itself is not the end of the world but we never received the code to unlock the door. We had to wait outside until someone finally sent us the code via whatsapp. Then once inside the main problem became apparent. No one bothered to turn on the AC before guests arrive. It was dangerously hot. I am not sure how long the villa was without AC but it felt like a hot car which has been sitting in the sun for many days. We could not relax in this Villa and had to leave it immediately. When we came back after leaving all the AC on we were shocked to find out the living room was still super hot. Turns out one of the AC unit is broken! Only the next day someone finally came to fix it. Second surprise was when two heavy closet doors fell on my wife and left her bruised. Management's reaction to all the issues was very ignoring. They do not seem to care at all about their guests. Not once did the owner come to check on the issues and the guests. There are many other smaller issues. Broken AC controller, broken cupboard, no proper bed duvets and and and. For this amount of money there are many better Villas in Uluwatu

Villa LUCILLAs biggest asset is the location - conveniently located just a few steps from all shops and restaurants of Uluwatu. Only 15 mins by walk to the closest beaches. Despite that it’s very quiet, perfect to get some well deserved rest. Staff is super helpful and respond within minutes. Amenities are all you need during holidays. The swimming pool is a must during your stay in Bali - there’s nothing better than hopping into a chilly water after all day in heat.

Beautiful villa plenty of room

From the moment we walked in we could not believe the level of luxury , openness and mix of beautiful Architecture . Pool was great for kids. We had issue with pool and no gate and Leo was lightning fast to create a system to make safe for toddler. Location was great tiny walk to bars and cafes easy to get on Gomel to other parts. Comfortable beds and aircons. Tv great for kids with all the apps u can imagine. Highly recommend, exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Leo we had young naughty kids that broke a couple of minor things and some spills on beds and Leo was super understanding and his priority’s was solely for us as a family to Enjoy with no worry’s. Thanks again we will be back, Leo knows the area well and has great advice for all aspects of Uluwatu area.

Modern, spacious and clean. Excellent communication from host.

Probably need to let guest know there is a lot of construction surrounding the property. Some people may not tolerate the noise of tools. No window coverings on the fixed bedroom windows were a small issue at times with tradies being able to see in whilst working on surrounding construction sites. Nothing untoward but could easily be elevated.

Villa Lucilla is beautifully presented and close to shops and restaurants, nice big pool with large bedrooms & bathrooms, we loved the living and dining space to relax and lots of amenities. The staff are all very professional, pleasant and attentive, we will definitely be back again

Communication was very efficient. This Property was stunning.

A bit noise due to construction properties is fairly new.
