Old Brewery home with pool and gym access

Really spacious apartment, felt safe, easy access. The hosts were very helpful and informative and made us feel very welcome.

Lack of amenities, a car is definitely recommended in order to get around.

The property is the best we’ve ever used for our holidays, we had the use of the swimming pool and the gym, in the property the decor was like been in a 10 star hotel, there was everything you’d ever need and more, the beds were to die for so comfortable, when we arrived at the property and went in, in the kitchen was a card and a bottle of red wine welcoming us to the property addressed to me and the family (hand written) which was a fantastic touch. I would and will recommend this place to everyone.

Quiet and cool as we had had a long hot drive down. Homely, good to find some children's toys and books. The pool was a welcome addition for the children.

Pool access was a little confusing and circuitis. The side door didn't seem to work from the outside so we had to go via the underground carpark. The pool itself was a little chilly so we didn't linger.

Phoned on arrival and he guided us straight away on how to get into the property, and you have your own parking space. The place was really clean, and the fixtures and fittings are a really high standard, they even left us a bottle of wine. They had blankets and other homely touches, which made it feel more like a home than just a place to stay. The pool although meant to be shared was so quite that we seemed to be the only people using it, so it end up being our own personal pool, which was amazing. We walked to the local pub (3 mins away) and had a meal which was very good, and they was most welcoming. The village it is in is really quite and has good looking buildings, we even went to the village hall which is running a café and got a cheap breakfast. I would 100% stay there again

The neighbour upstairs is a little loud on the foot steps, however you could not hear any other noise from above. Minor point, but there was one sofa, so there was a bit of a family battle who got to sit where as there was 4 of us, there is other seating available, rocking chair, a big floor cushion and breakfast bar stools, but they was just not as comfy compared to the sofa.

location was just what we were looking for, nice and central for the places we wanted to visit. very peaceful surroundings.

Great location in a nice little village with a fantastic pub at the end of the street. Comfortable, well equipped property. Fantastic host, very friendly, nice little touches such as having the basics there for you to use. Made full use of the pool, had it all to ourselves both times we used it a real bonus to have something like that.
