Blue Whale Inn San Clemente Charmer Unit A

It was so close to the beach and the views were stunning. Having a nice little kitchen was awesome.

The only thing was there was no air conditioner. Plenty of fans though. On the sunny days it got a bit hot.

The view from the deck was phenomenal. I really loved the look down Monterey Lane from the deck. The fact that it was pet friendly was a huge selling point. We have a Yorkie and if we go, he goes. We had more than enough room and the amenities were fine. Teresa was very helpful and informative.

I know it is a beach property, but when we got there it was SO HOT. We are from AZ which generally has very low humidity. Walking in to this place with the heat and humidity was very tough to endure. We would definitely stay here again but we would get there, open it up, put the fans on high and leave for 1/2 hour or so to give the place a chance to cool down. Too bad it can’t have an AC.

We loved everything but especially the location! The location (pier bowl) is close to everything and is very pet friendly!

cute apartment with beautiful views and fairly spacious. garage parking is great as the street gets crowded.

I had contacted the property in advance about a late check out. Apparently they did not tell the cleaning lady this, and she was very unhappy and unpleasant about this miscommunication.

The apartment is within walking distance to the pier and a group of restaurants.  You can also walk a little bit north and there are other activities and restaurants that you can hit as well. If you don’t want to walk or bike, everything is just a very short drive.

The parking is limited in the area, and the garage is tiny if there are other tenants staying at the property. The laundry is coin operated so plan on bringing quarters if you need to do a load.
