For people with walking difficulties it might be difficult to take all the steps, but this is the traditional house, so there is no other way it could be arranged.

Those were in a lockbox

We were scammed. We booked the "Casa da Joana by Portus Alacer" for one night. They offered a 2 bedroom apartment but only one bedroom was available cause the other was flooded (attached pictures) so my daughter had to sleep in an uncomfortable couch. We complaint but the host instead of apologizing and looking for a solution, they said it was "our fault" cause we said we were only going to use one room and that was a blatant lie that can be easily verified though the booking information. We request a refund for what we payed and booking.com should be aware of fraudulent activities like this. We have more pictures of the property and we also of have their surprising response. Bookers, beware of scams like this.

Água não muito quente para banhos

Very spacious - a good value for families (which we were not). Convenient location.

Noisy location. Lack of kitchen equipment (no toaster, no spatula, no knives for cooking). No soap in the bathrooms except what seemed to be watered-down liquid soap downstairs.
