Casa San Girolamo Historic flat with cosy Terrace in Lucca's city Centre

It is in a perfect position in Lucca, near the station, car parks and Piazza Napoleon. The apartment had everything we needed and the terrace is wonderful. The host was very helpful and sent us links to several restaurants etc . The air conditioning in the bedrooms was most welcome as it was very hot

There are quite a few stairs, particularly to the main bedroom. This may cause a problem to someone with limited mobility. It would be difficult to take a suitcase up the stairs to the main bedroom as it is an open tread, wooden, spiral type , so we left ours on the large landing by the second bedroom. This was not a problem as there is a large wardrobe on the landing and it didn’t bother us

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Large spaces that were nicely furnished. Loved the large patio.

Overall excellent, to nitpick, some napkins and oil for cooking would have been nice.

Fantastic place to stay within the walls of Lucca. Just round the corner from the main square, 5 minutes walk to a supermarket, bars and restaurants straight outside but not a noisy place. Huge terrace with space for eating and relaxing. Well equipped kitchen and excellent air conditioning in both bedrooms and the kitchen (which was needed as every day we were there it was at least 30C). Andrea very welcoming and helpful.

Nothing. Will definately stay here again when we come back to Lucca.

Wonderful location and a lovely terrace. It’s a spacious, clean and well -equipped apartment. Large double bed super comfy and the host Andrea was charming, extremely helpful and accommodating.

Large rooms lots of space. Would be good for a family. Well equipped. Could easily stay there again. Convenient location. Great balcony.

Stairs. Rooms are on four levels. Lots of up and down. Main bedroom not easy to access. No expendables such as kleenex paper towels trash bags salt pepper.....

Perfect location, inside the city walls and in close walking distance to train station (trip to Pisa). Very nice host. It was very clean and spacious. Big veranda. We found a car space (public, paying) in the street in front of the apartment (we travelled in the winter and had no problem finding a space). Big kitchen. Nice bottle of wine as welcome!

Complicated to understand the parking system as the parking meter did not accept credit cards nor the app we had downloaded (eventually we downloaded the second app suggested and it worked). Quite a lot of stairs (not that we minded) to get to the apartment as well as inside the apartment. Would be good to mention that in case there is someone with mobility issues. Slightly musty smell in one of the bathrooms (we closed the door and it did not bother us).

Thought the location was excellent and the highlight was the outside balcony - bathed in sunshine every day.
