The host was rude, and not did not make my parents feel comfortable. They also threatened to cancel the booking after my father dropped a cigarette on the floor. While I do agree that behavior was unacceptable, it was addressed, my father was cautious for the rest of the trip, so I did not see a need to rudely and abruptly threaten to cancel the booking when my parents drove hours to reach there and it was already dark. The host was not inviting, and made them feel unwelcome. While my parents indicated that the place was beautiful, due to the host, they do not recommend this place.

The bed was very comfortable, the jacuzzi amazing. Steff was very friendly. The cottage was spacious, very clean & looked better than the photos. We enjoyed a relaxing evening. The river next to the cottage was soothing.

There was quite a few spiders in the room. Some extra lights on hand for loadshedding would come in handy.

Was greatful for the assistance from Steff and his wife and children. The jacuzzi was clean and hot. And the room was clean.

Knowing the property was thatched, we were hoping that the insects would have been less by maintaining that problem. Although they didn't bother us while we were sleeping. It was a lot.
