Amani's Nook -Indulgent Beach Escape

Amani's Nook was a great choice for an affordable stay in Diani. The apartment is in an old hotel. While some parts of the hotel are run down and need some renovation, the apartment was very modern and clean. The beds in the room can be separated into two separate beds. The room also has excellent WiFi, a smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen, which allowed us to cook and save some money by not having to eat out every day. The beach is less than 5 minutes away from the apartment. On the beach there are plenty of sun loungers and two sofas. There is always a guard on the beach, which made it easy to go for a swim without worrying about our valuables. There also seems to be an agreement that the beach boys don't come onto the beach that belongs to the resort. Last but not least, Amani, the apartment owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. During check-in he took a lot of time to show us around the apartment. He also helped us with some recommendations on where to eat, which clubs and bars to visit and what to do in Diani and Mombassa. He also gave us the number of a reliable tuktuk driver and let us know what fair prices were. He was also always available by phone. All in all, I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relatively cheap beachfront stay.

As stated above, the hotel does need some renovating and upkeep even though the appartment is in excellent condition. The pool could be cleaned more often, however it is totally usable.

Everything about it felt so tranquil and refreshing. The management was top-notch—attentive, professional, and ensured every aspect of my stay was seamless. Issues with the location not where it was supposed to be near the airport road next to the beach it was actually near jacaranda hotel which is 10 mins drive north away from everything that's happening.😪.
