"Lovely cosy flat in a nice area within walking distance of the city."

The location was perfect for EICC and the city centre. Plenty of restaurants available in a lovely area of Edinburgh. The flat was clean and a well equipped and was nice and warm too.

If I'm being extremely picky, an extra pillow on the bed would have been useful and a full length mirror.

"Premises was more than adequate for my three-night stay - and in a very handy location."

Spotlessly clean throughout. Quiet at night, despite its city centre location. Milk, tea, coffee and cakes kindly provided by hosts.

Landing area (first floor) outside flat, was unlit, leading to awkward unlocking of door after dark. Took a while for me to locate the thermostat for the central heating, which wasn't on a wall! Kitchen could be slightly improved by the addition of a bottle opener and a lap tray, as dining at the small table isn't easy (and not possible for two people, due to lack of suitable chairs).

"Good apartment, good location"

The owner gives you very clear directions to the apartment, was found very easily. The key is in a key box outside the main door to the apartment which is very convenient. Location is about 15/20 minutes away from the Royal Mile. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. Few car park options around. Easy to get hold of the owner by text which is always good.

The entrance to the apartment isn’t very attractive. Old, cold hallway and we struggled to find the light so had to walk up the first flight of stairs in the dark. The apartment underneath is being renovated, the builders started at 8 o’clock in the morning with power tools and banging. Hopefully this will be a short term problem till the work is finished. Would stay again when work was done as the noise was very loud.

"Perfect stay near all main attractions!"

The hostess is super friendly and was very flexible with the check in/out times. She’s very communicative and the flat is centrally located! We loved our stay, it was super cosy! :)

Perhaps there could be more storage in the bathroom (under the sink) and a bigger dining room table
