Comfortable, clean, modern, spacious

Bit of a hike to central London, but it was convenient for our specific needs.

The flat was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a lovely view onto the park area. It felt very secure & friendly neighbourhood. The car parking space was very handy. A short walk and you were in the town centre. The host was super helpful and very responsive.

Additional parking around the area was £15 an hour or £100 for 24 hours, so it was cheaper to go and collect our daughter and bring her round to visit. A few more cups would be a good addition.

One of the most beautiful and cleanest and peaceful place we have ever been as a group of 4 we really enjoyed ourselves whoever goes here you will not be disappointed in the apartment and location and how beautiful the area is.

Good location, great amenities and clean property.

The apartment is well furnished and comfortable. It is situated in a great central location allowing access to many tourist destinations within a hour drive in each direction. Although Vic had not advertised it, the location backs a very large park with tons of green space for nature lovers. Within the park, no more than a 5 minute walk is the Battle of Britain Bunker. This was an incredible tour with everything staged as it was on one of the big days in World War II. There is also a lovely lake with hiking trails within a 10 minute drive of the home called Little Britain Lake. The AC units inside the apartment were amazing allowing us to stay comfortable in the apartment even during a big heatwave in the UK for several weeks. Vic was very responsive to any questions or needs.

There really was not anything to complain about. The washing machine and dryer took longer than us in the USA are used to waiting. But it is typical for UK. The dryer can take over an hour to dry just a few pairs of pants and shirts. Be prepared that there is also a moisture capture tank that needs to be pulled out and emptied every few drying cycles that I have never seen in US dryers. Though it is great and rare to have both a washer and dryer in the apartment.

It was clean and just the perfect place to stay, felt like home.

The host was very helpful, all needs were met with all the tips for & in around the apartment. The place was very clean & very comfortable for the stay. Definitely recommend for another stay.

Very difficult to be negative 😇

Vick's House was very clean and we found the contact person to be reliably responsive. The flat's deck overlooks a quiet, leafy park and lawn, so peaceful! We could walk to the tube station in a bit less than 10 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms provided fresh toothbrushes/paste and new bath sponges! It has a washer/dryer, Nespresso machine, hair dryer, kettle and toaster. Best of all, it felt very safe. There is a punch button entry keypad outside, and also one inside with the same code. After this internal door is opened, you then have a keypad on your door. Safe, quality neighborhood
