"Homely place to stay"

10.0

Lovely place - it's our second stay. Homely and clean. Exceptionally well equipped - I don't think we needed to bring anything other than our clothes and fresh food. Great location for sightseeing/ visiting family. Close to amenities.

Maybe black out curtains in bedrooms? Not a negative in any way - just a personal preference to sleep in complete darkness.

"Quirky and delightful with great location"

10.0

The location is great for what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and tidy with all the amenities we needed. Close to EV charging for our car, in a free to use car park and cheap too. Perfect!

The TV reception was a bit iffy. Creaky stairs and big step down into the bedroom, but that's why it's quirky I guess?

"Lovely cottage"

10.0

This quirky little cottage has everything you need for a stay in Broseley. Close to amenities and in the centre of town. Good communication with the hosts. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and it was warm and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and towels were soft and plenty provided along with toiletries. P.S. thankyou for the biscuits and crisps, tea and coffee, much appreciated 😊

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Perfect location for us so we would return for a third visit"

9.0

Location as family live in Broseley

This is an old cottage so not suitable for elderly given the internal stairs.

"Quirky? Thuys is a true gem especially for solo or a couple plus one."

10.0

It's a superb cottage, being very comfortable and warm with every facility possible, except a coffee machine although a cafetierre did well. The bed is really comfortable. The location is brilliant. It's on a mini roundabout but you don't notice any noise. The dining table position is great for computer work, being able to work and watch the world. The washer tumbler is fantastic. There's a lovely garden just over a passage to other houses with a locked shed where the owners permit you to keep bikes. Access to the house is via the rear door opposite the garden by key safe. Car parking is very slightly tricky but easy enough if you reverse. Don't try going in forwards. If you can't park or have an SUV there's plenty of free safe parking on the road seconds away. So it's a pretty perfect location and home from home. The bathroom is very well equipped with lots of quality towels and loo rolls plus a massive assortment of shampoos, shower gels and soap. Two toilets, one up and one down. Broseley is a brilliant location for Jackfield, the Boat Inn, Maws Centre and Ironbridge plus the Pipe, and Coalport Museums plus Blists Hill. It's also easy to get to Bridgnorth and the Black Country Towns. It's a gateway to Shropshire and places like Much Wenlock and walking territory e.g. Long Mynd. Broseley has a brilliant Butcher open from 6.30 right next door. A fully stocked Spar plus two other smaller stores. Three Barbers!!!! A nice little cafe, Pizza, Fish and Chips and a poshish Restaurant plus greengrocers and a couple of gift shops. I managed to do a fair bit of Christmas shopping while there. It's not really quirky and if you have an interest in architecture it's a puzzle as to how the house is structures vis a vis next door.

It's not a dislike but if you have mobility issues the stairs could present a slight challenge as would entry up four wooden steps from the back door into the kitchen. It's no real problem however as the front door is on level ground. Similarly, the bath is short and deep but no problem as there a very efficient shower in the bathroom
