Charming Valletta 1BD Apartment off Republic Street

Nothing like on the photos.

I like that the loft was near the ocean (1 min walk). A convenient store was near if I needed mixers or snacks (Gigi’s). Also, I did not expect a microwave and an iron to be available, both of those items are essential for me lol

Not really an issue, but I think it was advertised as a 1 bed and a pullout bed…when it’s actually 2 full beds and a couch (a good thing for me, but could help the owner if they changed it).

nothing at all the property was a dump interior wall crumbling sinks not fit for use sink plugs leaking since we arrived 4 attempts to fix them by owner all failed all he had to do was by 2new plugs mould in the shower hand rails loose stair treads not to code(safety issues)

everything about it and lack of correspondence from the owners

The apartment is fairly new and looks like it was recently renovated.

There were constant problems with electricity - once, we were woken up in the middle of the night by a beeping alarm which turned out to be a prepaid electricity meter, and the next day, we woke up in the morning at there was no electricity at all. Both times it took some 20 minutes on the phone to fix the issues - and the mobile reception in the apartment is non-existent. It would be great if we were told about the meter and how to solve issues with it before we checked in.

The apartment is very nice, comfortable for 4 guests. Very well equipped. The host send us all necessary info before arrival, no problem to get to the apartment. He also turned on an AC - heating, what was great. Without it, it is very cold for me inside (in March).

The apartment is in dead end street which is not very good looking (I would not go there alone, especially during evening or night), but in fact, I felt save there. It was hard to recognise, if it "ghetto style" or just culturally different:)
