AL DUOMO, Dimora Storica

Lovely apartments in the center of Matera. The rooms are very characteristic, spacious and comfortable, everything is spotless clean. They are equipped with a breakfast corner, tea, coffee, etc. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and parking areas.

Would perhaps have been nice with lounge chair instead of two bar chairs.

Excellent location for touring the many levels of the old city of Matera. It was quite a walk from parking, but this was not a surprise. You can’t keep secrets in the room with the loft as acoustics were unbelievable.

Staying in the old town area was a great experience for our family.

We liked it’s location. Pretty safe & quiet neighborhood, yet still walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. It’s very clean. Very spacious (great for our family of 4). The check in process was super easy. Host met us at the Piazza Duomo so we didn’t have difficulty finding the accommodation. Host helped us settle in & explained everything we needed to know so we had a very pleasant & comfortable stay in Al Duomo Dimora Storica. In the future, we would love to go back to Matera & stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Matera.
