Stylish 2 bed pet-friendly coastal retreat

After 14 years of annual visits to Braunton this is one of the better properties we have stayed at. Quiet and perfect location in walking distance to the centre and on the right side of the village for getting to Saunton, Croyde etc without having to sit in traffic. Garden is enclosed and private. Kitchen facilities were suitable for our needs and focussed more on normal living than 'show' home i.e. mugs instead of cups, decent wine glasses instead of thimbles, decent cereal bowls instead of small shallow dishes which all adds to those home away from home comforts. We would stay again.

Working outdoor tap would have been good for wetsuits etc. Used the hoover while we were there and there was a mass of hair in the brushes which is potentially what was giving the funky smell in the house when we arrived and after hoovering. It would have also been nice to have had the garden area/tables etc cleared from previous occupants debris i.e. cigarette butts squashed in between table boards and food remnants on the table.

Nothing of any note at all. The toilet roll holder in the master en suite was loose. We had a great stay.

Nice quite area although just off a bus route and close enough to town to walk too. so all in all a great place to stay.

Beautifully thought out property with all our needs catered for. Plenty of space and very comfy beds.

The property was lovely. It has a tasteful interior, is very comfortable and well equipped. It is on a good location, a short walk to Braunton and a short drive to Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. Little touches like the games/toys were greatly appreciated by my young children. The garden was decked out.
