The Creekside Retreat: Steps to all of Telluride

Over advertised and over priced. It was advertised as an “Inn” but turned to be an old apartment in a multi apartment building. Issues with the heat not working, bathroom door wouldn’t completely close, parking onsite if you’re lucky otherwise good luck finding on street parking that you have to figure out the location and text your car information so you don’t get towed! A feeble attempt to paint over very dated kitchen cabinets. Bathroom sink was loose and the shower could have been cleaner. Had an issue with the front door lock and despite two contacts with the property manager, we never got a hard copy of a key. Also, on the welcome table was an ad from a realtor that sold the apartment to the current proprietor. I thought this was very tacky. We’ve stayed in much nicer places for this kind of money. I would not recommend this property.

No breakfast.

Had no idea there was no air conditioning. The windows were double-panes and couldn’t be opened. Because we were on the bottom floor, we couldn’t leave the door open (no privacy) for ventilation. We had to go to a hardware store and purchase a box van to use in the living room. Guess the cleaning crew wound up with that. Thank God there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom!
