The dishes and kitchen sink were filthy. Huge black ants came inside the unit from under the front door where a huge gap was - we have been accused of leaving “sugary children’s food” around attracting the ants but the child is an infant who does not eat adult foods yet. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable, and a strong musty scent was present. Toilet got clogged and the owner claimed we flushed a baby diaper down the toilet. This is unproven and untrue. He is trying to charge me $100 outside of the booking.com platform to pay for a plumber and to replace a rug without submitting proof of these things. The owner is claiming we left the unit a mess, we cleaned all personal items from the cabin and cleaned to the best of our ability, we did not receive any kind of “check out instructions” until we had already vacated. The owner has threatened to have me removed from the app and communication has been extremely unprofessional. It seems as though they are attempting to collect extra money and feels as though they are attempting to use threats and lies as a means to gain this. He was upset by this review and I would be wary when booking with this host. I have never had an experience that was poor let alone this appalling.

I just loved staying in this little hideaway. It was super cute and cozy.

This was a comfortable and cute cottage. It felt roomy.

Without GPS it would have been hard to find at night because there aren't any street lights.

The place is well taken care in all details. Short walk to downtown.Photos are very accurate.

Cannot think of anything that could be negative.

Please look at the photos CLOSELY. They ARE representative of the property. In my opinion the 9.0 rating is inaccurate and you will be disappointed as we were if you believe it is a 9.0 The place was clean and comfortable but it was NOT a 9.0. Maybe a 5 0r 6. It’s not artsy its just old.
