The common areas was calm and pleasant with good ambience and the Sea View Terrace area was amazing! If you’re coming with group friends, you will definitely have a blast and they have a budget dorms too .. definitely recommended for group of friends, but not for family!

Staff weren’t that helpful.. very unresponsive!

"Best Hostel with a good number of people to meet"

The host John has taken care of everything. The beds were good. Terrace has fantastic view of sunset and beach. Very close to the cliff walk.Met some very good friends.

Only thing, kitchen would have been better..

Beautiful location, beautiful place and amazing staff. The host, John was very kind and friendly and also very very helpful. Whenever I'll visit Varkala, I will definitely stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cliff and Coral North Cliff! 🌸 As a solo female traveler, safety is my top concern, and I can truly say I felt safe and comfortable here throughout my entire stay. The people are incredibly warm and friendly. A special thanks to John, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home—he even joined me for kayaking, which made the experience unforgettable. You can always ask him for recommendations; he’s very kind, helpful, and makes sure you never feel like you’re traveling alone. Sara, Akshay, and the rest of the staff were equally caring and attentive. The whole place is kept super clean, and the vibe is so positive. Another plus is the location—it’s very close to all the main attractions, which made exploring so easy. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would happily come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting North Cliff! 🌿✨
