The Fort Lytham St Annes

Everything about the apartment was gorgeous. Such a lovely space and all high spec furnishings. Great location and car park close by. Lovely gesture to receive the goodies and prosecco on arrival, which was very much welcome after a busy drive. The bed was awesome! And I loved the shower too.

Really picky as probably not needed for most guests but a freezer could be beneficial as I had ice packs but we managed and there was milk already in the fridge.

It is a charming studio flat, clean and the bed is very soft but comfortable. The location is fabulous in terms of walking to the restaurants, bars and beach. Well kitted out wit the exception of ice, mentioned below.

The hosts kindly left us a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket but there isn't any way of making ice, it is a larder fridge only. Also it is a cast iron staircase up to the door on the outside of the building, not great if your Dog has not settled and needs to go out in the night. Quite noisy though as you are above an Indian restaurant and next to a Thai restaurant, although it did not stop us sleeping. The first night someone tried to get in, we heard them trying the handle and our dog barked but I also heard someone laughing telling them they had the wrong place so was accidental but it did freak me out initially.

Good central location. All the facilities required for a long weekend.

Perfect location in Lytham. Excellent host. A beautiful apartment, had absolutely everything you could need. Welcome treats were very much appreciated. Spotlessly clean. Hope to return when we visit Lytham again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
