Convenient to most attractions in town including the harbor and beach. Everything worked. There are multiple units in this block of flats, but there were no issues with noise.

Parking is on the street. There are restrictions for non-resident parking. Fortunately, these restrictions don’t appear to be enforced. There is a patio in the listing, but it's not private is it appeared (to me) in the pictures.

The location of this apartment was fantastic. Blissfully quiet - no noise at all from the road or neighbouring properties. We parked right outside using a permit, which was really good value for money. From here it's so easy either to walk to local attractions or get the bus. Apartment was very nicely presented, with everything you might need for a week's stay. Good shower, comfortable bed, reasonably good kitchen facitlities. I would definitely recommend.

Communicating with the hosts was a very frustrating process. The property is managed by agents who clearly know very little about it. When I asked a question about the parking permit the agent simply repeated what I'd already seen in the booking information - took several attempts to get a clear answer. On arrival we expected to receive a permit to put in the car. Again more frustrating emails to and fro before the agent confirmed our car reg had been entered online, no need to display anything in the car. We'd brought perishable food, but the fridge wasn't cold. The fridge was swapped for one that worked, but again it took far too many frustrating emails and phonecalls. Not ideal when you've come away for a holiday! Even so, I'd still recommend this property. If it hadn't been for the communication issues I'd have scored it 10/10.

On arrival, I was put off by the shabby look of the building but what a lovely surprise! The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one may need for a comfortable stay. Good location close to shops and eateries. Walkable to seaside, Albert road, Gun wharf quays.

Would have preferred the bed to be firmer.

That it was available when we needed somewhere to stay in Southsea last weekend

There were a couple of maintenance issues. The advertisement does not reflect that it is contained in a rather shabby, multi-occupancy building. Communications were an issue with emails and telephone calls going unanswered.

The room was great size, the bed was comfy, has a good size bathroom, and has a TV. In a good location, we walked everywhere.

Shower head needs to be replaced as you have to hold it while you are showering

Fully equipped kitchenette. Huge and quiet backyard. Lovely location - close to shops, restaurants and bars

It is listed for up to 4 people, but both the bed and sofa are good for 2 people only if you plan to be very intimate. In case you are traveling with friends (with no benefits) - then assume it is a 2-person apartment :) Despite we booked for 3 nights, the provided mini bottles of shampoo and shower gel was equivalent to what you get for 1 night in all other places.

Great location, everything you need.

The bed was way too soft and didn't sleep well.
