Casa de Mono Bocas

Tolle Location gefühlt wie im Dschungel. Terrasse/Balkon mit Hängematte und viel Grün um einen herum. Cassandra ist per WhatsApp immer da, wenn es ein Thema gibt und hat Wayne vor Ort.

Man wird „vorgewarnt“, aber es ist tatsächlich so, dass man von dem Zimmer über einem jeden einzelnen Schritt extrem deutlich mitbekommt. Alles aus Holz.

Unfortunately, nothing. The property did not meet basic cleanliness or safety expectations, so we were unable to stay.

We encountered a significant cockroach infestation when we returned to the apartment late in the evening (around 11:00 PM) and turned on the lights!! When we initially arrived earlier in the day, we were only in the unit briefly (about an hour) to drop our bags before leaving for a scheduled tour and did not return until nighttime. It was only upon returning that we saw multiple roaches throughout the property, including on the walls.This was a serious health concern, so we left immediately and secured alternate lodging at Coralina Island House (which I recommend). We have pictures of multiple places inside the property that had cockroaches, please see attached. The host also stated that there ARE cockroaches in the surrounding environment. So she is aware of the issue. After reporting the infestation and demanding a refund, the host made false accusations, including alleging illegal or inappropriate activity and claiming that we somehow brought "multiple cockroaches" into the unit ourselves. These accusations were untrue and appeared only after we raised the cleanliness and safety issue to booking.com for a refund. We have documentation supporting the timeline and condition of the property. I would not stay here.

Casa de Mono is very good located, next to the beach and different restaurants. We had a super warm welcome from Wayne, unfortunately I did not meet Cassandra in real life but the contact with her through Whatsapp to book tours and when we had questions were great. She seems like a loving and super nice person! Thank you guys, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Hermosa ubicación. Entre todo lo verde llegan monos aulladores, variedad de aves de colores, etc. todo es hermoso! Frente a cada moño hay un local super variado de comida y tragos, además de actividades todos los días como karaoke, Pool, etc.

La casa tenía encanto y estaba bonita y cuidada y limpia

Se encontraba a 10 minutos en coche en un punto donde realmente no había nada de interés. El ambiente de la habitación y de la casa en general era húmedo e imposible que se secase nada. Por último, pagamos a parte el desayuno que consiste en unos bonos que puedes canjear en los restaurantes cercanos y que solamente incluye una opción del menú, no merece la pena en absoluto, puedes ir a esos sitios directamente y pedirte lo que realmente te apetezca. Por lo que fue y en comparación con otros alojamientos de mi viaje se encuentra un poco overpriced

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Tolle Lage wenn man es ruhig will. und man kommt ja unkompliziert mit dem Taxi oder Fahrrad in die Stadt. Ein Café und Restaurant ist aber in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Die Lage, der Garten mit Terrasse und die hübsche Ausstattung der Wohnräume.

Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist das Bad nicht geeignet. Die Türe zu schmal, die Toilette auf einem Sockel und die Dusche leider nicht befahrbar. Man muss als Paraplegiker schon sehr sportlich sein um das zu bewältigen. Wer noch laufen kann hat kein Problem. Wayne war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Er schraubte auf Wunsch gleich die Türe aus dem Türstock . Dadurch konnte ich ins Bad gelangen.

Beautiful location and surroundings, super clean and comfortable. Close to Bocas town and the beach. Fantastic owners and hosts.

Did not find anything that we dislike.
