The Ferns - Modern Apartment With Parking & Shared Garden

Everything was thought about. The little added details are what take a good stay to an exceptional stay like this one. The layout and design is super cute and modern. The little board games provided as well as the smart TV allowed for a cozy fun night in. Fully functional kitchen with all utensils and dishes. Clear instructions and guides were provided for everything in the apartment making it an ease to check in, check out and cook etc.

The property is compact, very well presented, clean, up to date and has everything you would need. Kitchen is well equipped, lounge and bed are very comfortable. A great location for exploring Kilmarnock and Ayrshire. Good bus service and, if driving, only an hour from Edinburgh. You could get a bus to Kilmarnock and a train to Glasgow if you prefer not to drive. Good off road parking. Host was very helpful and welcoming.

The locations is perfect and very central to the town which allows for easy walking to explore the town. I was researching addresses of my ancestors, along with visiting the graveyard, and it meant that I did not need to use the car. We also walked up Loudoun Hill from the apartment.

Working the Freeview TV seemed rather complicated.

It is well located for exploring the Ayrshire, south and southwest of Glasgow and New Lanark. The apartment is well-appointed. It has a good kitchen/ lounge and a separate bedroom. There is also a washing machine and dryer, as well as an outside washing line in the courtyard. Parking was free either on the street or in a secure area off the street.
