Covered Patio & Fenced Yard Lovely in Laurelwood

We booked here and drove over 3 hours to get some relief from hurricane Helene in Douglas GA and upon arrival the key code given didn’t work. We called and were given a different key code which did work and thankfully that was prompt. However there wasn’t any electricity and we had booked a 3 night stay. It was around 10 pm when we arrived over 3 hours away from our Home town and we hadn’t had power for days or running water. I called and was told we would be refunded but it may take 7-12 days. So we had to sit at a convenient store and try to find a hotel which was extremely hard due to them being booked. After calling more than 10 hotels in the area and even another hour away I luckily was able to book a room at a holiday inn express for the night because there was a literal last minute cancellation. And the hotel staff said we had to be out by 12 pm the next day so we didn’t have much time to sleep, unpack, or shower. It was a conundrum. Compassionately enough we were able to stay the next day and night at this same holiday inn express, so we got some relief - electricity, running water and found a nice local coffee shop that was amazing nearby. We did get refunded our money from this booking.com establishment but it really djd take multiple days - and we didn’t have the money to wait multiple days for a refund so had to borrow money from family. This whole situation put us in a big mess
