The Lodge At Uxmal

Great location right across the street from the entrance to Uxmal. The pool that we went in (and there were two that I saw) was nice and refreshing. The restaurant was good as well, we had dinner and breakfast there. It's an older facility but fine for a one night stay. Also a 3 minute walk to the Chocolate Museo which is worth a visit.

Our room was on the end and it was large but there isn't a glass window on the end so you cab hear the road noise. I don't know if the other rooms have the same lack of windows so ear plugs are recommended. Also we had a large spa tub which is difficult to step in and out of.

Lage fantastisch! Lodge Stil sehr hübsch in Anlage integriert. Toller Garten. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück a la carte besser als Buffet.

Das Essen im Restaurant mittelmäßig! Das Buffet morgens nicht sehr schmackhaft.

Ich mag weiche Betten, aber das hier geht entschieden zu weit. Und wenn man dann nachts aufwacht und riesige Ameisen über einen krabbeln ist die Nacht vorbei. Und das einzige das ich in solch einer Unterkunft möchte ist ein erholsamer Schlaf. Übrigens war die Rezeption nicht besetzt und ans Telefon ging auch niemand. Das Essen im Restaurant ist wie das Frühstück einfallslos und der Weißwein warm. Unser Dinner startete relativ gepflegt und ruhig und uns wurde mitgeteilt dass das Restaurant um 21 Uhr schließt. Man hatte allerdings vergessen zu sagen dass ab 20 Uhr ein Buffet aufgebaut wird und ganze Reisebusladungen das Restaurant in eine Kantine verwandeln. Auf dem ganzen Gelände darf man nicht rauchen, wie fast überall so üblich in Mexiko. Allerdings raucht das Personal ganz ungeniert überall.

Un superbe cadre tout proche de l’entrée des ruines d’Uxmal, très pratique pour visiter tôt le matin. Des espaces extérieurs avec piscines magnifiques et agréables. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins et sympathique. La chambre est propre.

La chambre pour 4 est peut être un peu petite pour le prix (les lits doubles sont étroits). Le réfrigérateur serait moins dérangeant dans la salle de bain.

Der erste Eindruck vom Parkplatz ist erstmal ernüchternd- danach wird alles immer besser :)

The location was excellent, short waking distance from Uxmal ,the staff was very friendly and kind and the breakfast was really good but pricey.

The beds were really uncomfortable, the bathroom was old and had moldy, we did not had a phone to communicate with reception, the tv was old and we could not figure out how to make it work.
