The Lodge At Uxmal

The Mayan style and nature details; the people is very nice and kind.

The landrovers that cross in front. They are noisy, unpleasant, and smoky. They shouldn't be on the road, much less in front of the restaurant and the ruins; they violate Mexican environmental laws and regulations.

I appreciated the consistently kind, attentive, and most hospitable staff who are all from local Maya communities nearby. The hotel rooms are reflective of the traditional Maya home architecture that gives the feeling of being immersed in nature while very comfortable and protected. The location is unbeatable -- a few steps from Uxmal.

The best possible overnight location to be at the entrance gates of Uxmal ruins at 8am and gain entry to the wonderful site with only a handful of other visitors present. To be among the first wandering about before all the tour buses arrive is a privilege- this is a beautiful site well worth the journey. The lodge is very pretty, the staff excellent and the room very comfortable . The hotel can organise a private guide in any language required and a couple of minutes walk from the hotel restaurant takes you to the entrance kiosk.

L’emplacement est génial. Juste à côté du site de Uxmal! Même pas besoin de voiture pour y aller!

Rien de particulier mais nous aurions aimé un buffet (repas uniquement à la carte dont on se lasse au bout de 3 jours…).

Very beautiful lodge located right outside the entrance to Uxmal archaeological site. Staff made us feel very welcome, even though we were the only guests that evening. Simply an amazing room. Lovely design, very comfortable and spotless. Loved breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the pyramid in Uxmal.

Genuinely, it was just a great stay.

La camera non è modernissima così come il bagno Il ristorante non offre tantissima scelta e la colazione che è inclusa non offre nulla per chi ha delle intolleranze. Nel complesso è un pochino costoso
