It's a basic room but given the price and location, it's a great option for budget travelers. Daniel is a great landlord. He will help you as much as he can. The room was clean, had a functional kitchen with piped gas, utensils and cooking vessels, fridge, fan, iron box, hair drier, water, and a desk. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Safe, peaceful. Hammock outside as a bonus.

The white bedsheets were rough. The bulbs were not bright enough. The bathroom lacked a soap holder. I am sure had I raised the issues, Daniel would have found a solution. I didn't get time to think of such details.

Very nice room with comfy bed and your little personal kitchen. It's very quiet and with lovely plants around. The bathroom is separate but still easy to use. I felt comfortable and got the privacy I was expected. Also easy to just walk to the center, and there are some really nice cafes very close by

Great little apartment for those looking for a quiet place to stay. Well priced and the room stays really cool during the day, which I appreciated. The kitchen suffices for basic cooking, and it was nice to have a personal fridge. The only downside is that the tap and sink are outside. The bathroom is also outside but very close to the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Responsive host. Clean and pleasant accommodation, which includes a fridge. Check in was professionally organised, with entry via code instead of key.

Shower was very low pressure and hot water didn’t work first two days (although this was resolved eventually). Our host offered to book us a taxi if we ever needed one. We asked him to book one for us to get to the airport the night before, which he said he did. The next morning he said the taxi had cancelled and that he would drive us instead. We thought this was a gesture of goodwill as the taxi had cancelled, but just be aware that he will charge 300$ MXN for this, and this was not communicated.

The helpful staff

Well equipped room and cute commune areas! It has a good location, from where you can walk everywhere. The host is very friendly and attentive. This was perfect for our stay in Oaxaca. Thank you!
