La Maison de Lucie

The large apartment was a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the centre of Sorrento. There were lots of restaurant options within easy walking distance. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to catch up on washing from weeks of travel.

We were disappointed there were gaps in what was provided. There was an iron but no ironing board, no plug for the kitchen sink and only very basic kitchen utensils. There was no hand wash soap in the bathroom, and no pillow slips for the second pillows which we needed to use. I would have expected all these things for the price we paid.

Apt. was spacious and clean. Close to historic centre. Elevator. Well equipped. Small balcony overlooking interior courtyard.

Close to the train and bus station. Large rooms. Nice balcony view of an orange grove. Hosts were very nice. It was raining when we arrived and my phone wasn’t working so a hotel called our host who picked us up in a car.

Unfortunately the booking.com listing did not provide the full street address so we couldn’t take a cab there in the rain. The kitchen could use more items to make cooking easier.

Was bit over priced I felt and also the bathroom heating had some issues. Apart from that a wonderful place for family outing and stay

Close to the train station and city center. A short distance from the supermarket. The building has an elevator. The apartment is spacious, equipped with everything you need.

Cleaning so and so. Uncomfortable bed. The water in the bathroom has no pressure and cannot be combined (water too hot or too cold). Recycling is mentioned, but the appropriate bags are not provided, nor is the pick-up schedule.

The location is great, also the apartment is very spacious, nice view on the lemon garden and mountains, enough towels, all kitchen equipment if you want to cook at home.

The kitchen and utensils were not clean enough, everything was covered in plague. Also, the sheets in the living room were wrinkled and had hair from previous guests, so we had to wash them. We had recycling instructions, but we only had one garbage bag. The mattress was too soft for our taste, the sofa in the living room was also uncomfortable, so one of us had to sleep on it across to make it more comfortable.

Excellent location, very close to the train station, where all trains and buses run from. Also close to Corso street, city centre, restaurants and supermarket. Large sized flat, comfortable beds and kitchen. Responsive host.

Not easy to adjust the hot water for shower, but I assume, that this is an issue for the whole city.
