Had a great stay at Ashton House, a comfortable and clean property, rooms are as seen in the pictures, appearing to be newly decorated, tastefully furnished and equipped with the essentials for your stay. Conveniently located for work or courses in Greater Manchester. The owner was very helpful, accommodating and responsive to all communications.

We are a family of four with kids aged six and nine and we stayed at Mr Ullah’s house in Ashton for a long weekend last weekend. Mr Ullah could not have been a better host. To start with, we found out while travelling up to Ashton that we had booked our stay to start a day later than intended! Fortunately, the house was available that evening, and despite it already being 4pm, Mr. Ullah had no problem getting it ready for us to arrive that same evening - including converting one of the bedrooms from a double room into a twin room - and even gave us a favourable rate for the extra night. The house is on a terraced residential Street in Ashton. It is very nicely done inside, and the rooms were bigger than we expected. It’s very well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the street was not noisy. While there is no dedicated car parking, it was easy to find a space on the street. The house is five minutes walk from the nearest tram stop, Ashton West, which meant we were able to get to the Etihad Stadium within 20 minutes really easily, and into the centre of town within half an hour. I would not hesitate to stay at this house again on our next trip to Manchester.

The host called whilst we were on our way to the property, we live 4 hours away, was friendly and welcoming, messaged whilst we were there to check everything was okay. The property was lovely and clean. The tram was a 5 minute walk and easy to get into the centre of Manchester for shopping.

The only thing we didn't like was the rug in the living room, it moved if you walked on it, was constantly pulling it down back into place, was a pain and a trip hazard. my friend who was staying with me has a visual impairment so this rug was the biggest pain for us.

Excellent location for Fields of Gold Festival

Not the greatest of areas but didn’t feel unsafe

It was clean, tidy, exactly as advertised. It is located 10 minute walk from just about everything - town centre, retail parks and major stores such as Aldi, IKEA, Sainsbury, ASDA and many more.
