The location was ideal for our purposes at a realistic price. The level of comfort and facilities included were sufficient, marginally above basic & in reasonable condition. Off street parking was probably the biggest asset.

We knew the road immediately outside the property would be busy & noisy throughout the day. Maybe off putting for anyone intending to spend time inside the property. There was an excess of "clutter" (CD's & DVD's) belonging to the owners, who still use the property as suits them. As an apartment within an internally rebuilt building there are permanent residents. I had a question regarding fire safety both within the apartment & the building as a whole. There is no fire fighting equipment & a lack of a posted evacuation plan. The access to the apartment, as it is on the 1st floor, is via a single 18 step staircase, which appears to be the only access.

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable.

The only downside is that we left the window open at night as it was so hot, and the road outside was busy and noisy. It was fine with earplugs.

It was in the same building as our son’s flat which was very convenient and we took lots of countryside walks

A pullout couch would have been nice

Apart from the problem with the work being carried out on the building all was good thanks

Well equipped apartment and good location to walk to town and explore local areas
