Green View Hotel, Jabal Akhdar

I like the view of the location, spacious clean rooms, friednly reception and support staff. A very good breakfast. A good parking for my own car.

the location is fantastic

water heater does not work properly

Loved the big size of the room and bathroom. Nice hot shower. Fantastic view from room and breakfast. Easy walk to the three villages hike. Really comfortable bed. Snacks, water and tea and coffee provided with kettle. Big fridge.

Could have been a bit cleaner (the windows were smudged inside, the pillow and bed runner, the carpet). The noise of the lift beeping was clearly heard in the night. Hairdryer would have been nice.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is easy to find and the road up isn’t as difficult as some people have suggested. The hotel serves an extensive breakfast and the lovely young man who looked after us cooked delicious scrambled eggs. There is no restaurant but there are 2 restaurants nearby plus a coffee shop. The hotel is in a great location for the Rose walk - just turn right out of the hotel and walk about 1km down the road to where there is a junction with cafes. We walked as far as Saiq and then to a wadi. A beautiful walk.
