Lovely house and private. Will definitely book this one again if its available. Perfect bushveld brake away.

What a lovely location animals in abundance.

The house was clean, safe and equipped with everything we needed. The animals were so interactive and came everyday to be fed. Such an amazing lapa to feed them and the bushbabies on the property were adorable. Clarissa who assisted us multiple times was excellent and super knowledgable. I would 1000 PERCENT recommend staying at martys rest! We also loved the pool, the outside fire area and the spacious environment the home provided.

NOTHING... everything was excellent!

We loved the location, very private and quiet, the road was just not good! The house is spacious.

Or meat knife. No towelrails, no hooks for dish cloths, lighting in certain areas bad, two of 3 toilets gave us problems, water was lying on patio exactly at opening door, layout in kitchen is not ideal, showers mess all over bathroom, no security doors which meant you have to lock the doors if you walk inside to use the toilet in case monkeys comes around. Windows also with no security. It would have been nice if pool had a step to get easier in. Lots of cockroaches. Nowhere did it say we are responsible to buy electricity for aircon or take rubbish to rubbish dump. Showerheads taped together. Need snack dishes. No dish up spoons. No breadknife

Marty's Rest was a superb location from which we explored the Kruger National Park and the scenic Panorama Route. It was a nice home away from home, which we received in a spotless condition and were welcomed by Clarissa, who went out of her way to get the keys to us. Around Marty's Rest there was an abundance of wildlife that came in to visit in the early mornings and afternoons. It couldn't have been a better experience, and I hope to return soon!

Clarissa was very welcoming and gelpful. Very comfortable beds. Good TV. Excellent wifi. Lots of animals visited.

Paying extra for airconditioning is unreasonable and inconvenient. A big draw of Marloth Park is sitting on the stoep and feeding/watching animals, so comfortable patio furniture is essential. This house had only flimsy, uncomfortable plastic chairs and a heavy folding table, which had to be carried in and out of the house.

Comfortable beds, great location. The layout of the house ensures privacy in the bedrooms.

Sofa was uncomfortable for seating. Very small bathroom basins - for hand washing.
